THE STARTER REPORTED:

a)	SHOUT AT THE MOON (E Webber) was stubborn loading.
b)	HAT MONTERA (*DB Geerthsen) was stubborn loading and jumped slow, losing two lengths.
c)	CHLOE'S DANCER (M van Rensburg) jumped slow, losing two lengths.
d)	TRILLION DREAMS (X Ndlovu) jumped slow, losing three lengths. 
	
THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: 

a)	Jockeys L Mxothwa (LADY SONATINE) and X Ndlovu (TRILLION DREAMS) dismounted at approximately 	the 1000m and led these fillies to the start, causing a delay. Trainers SB Kotzen and E Kaknis respectively 	were advised that should these fillies behave in a similar manner in future engagements, they may be 	suspended.
b)	TRILLION DREAMS (X Ndlovu), which jumped slow, raced detached from the field throughout.
c)	OPERA VERSE (C Maujean) took an awkward stride at approximately the 800m.
d)	SHOUT AT THE MOON (E Webber) shifted both ways away from the crop from the 400m.
e)	HAT MONTERA (*DB Geerthsen) was hanging in from the 400m and was corrected.
f)	DANCING IN WINTER (D Schwarz) was hanging in from the 350m.
g)	Jockey C Maujean reported that OPERA VERSE made an abnormal respiratory noise in running. The 	Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly.
	Trainer DA McKenzie was advised to report back should he find anything amiss with this filly on her return to 	the stables.
h)	Jockey Y Ramzan reported that PRINCESS VRITTI made 	an abnormal respiratory noise in running. The 	Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly.
	PRINCESS VRITTI (Y Ramzan) returned with a bilateral epistaxis due to an exercise induced pulmonary 	haemorrhage and is suspended for a period of 120 days from racing in any race under the jurisdiction of The 	National Horseracing Authority of Southern Africa in terms of Rule 93.1. (Dr E Reynders)
i)	In view of the report from the Starter regarding HAT MONTERA (*DB Geerthsen), Trainer TJ Laing will be 	advised to have this filly re-schooled prior to her next engagement in terms of Rule 61.6.10.
j)	In view of the report from the Starter regarding TRILLION DREAMS (X Ndlovu), Trainer E Kaknis will be 	advised to have this mare re-schooled prior to her next engagement in terms of Rule 61.6.10.
k)	Jockey J Gates was charged with a contravention of Rule 21.13 in that he failed to fulfil his riding engagement 	in Race 1 as he did not have a clearance certificate, which resulted in a change of Rider. Jockey J Gates 	signed an admission of guilt and was fined R1000,00. 
l)	ICE CAP, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer GD Smith was advised. (LM)
m)	FANTASY GIRL, the second-placed horse, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer AC Greeff was advised. (LM)
