THE STARTER REPORTED: a) MAN OF COURAGE (R Fourie) was stubborn loading. b) DYNAMITE JET (D Schwarz) jumped awkwardly outwards, losing two lengths. c) LORD QUINN (S Naidoo) was slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) DYNAMITE JET (D Schwarz), which jumped awkwardly outwards and was corrected, over raced in the early and middle stages. b) DONNY'S BOY (C Zackey) over raced in the early and middle stages. c) DYNAMITE JET (D Schwarz) raced wide around the bend and into the straight. d) MAN OF COURAGE (R Fourie) was hanging out from the 400m and was corrected. e) Jockey D Schwarz reported that DYNAMITE JET choked up in running and he did not persevere with his riding from the 400m. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this horse. Trainer E Kaknis was advised to report back should he find anything amiss with this horse on his return to the stables. f) Jockey C Zackey reported that DONNY'S BOY choked up in running.
