THE STARTER REPORTED: a) JUAN CARLOS (C Maujean) was stubborn loading. b) STORM COMMANDER (C Zackey) stumbled leaving the stalls and thereafter was slow into stride. c) NO PLACE LIKE HOME (R Fourie) and CENTRAL CITY (L Mxothwa) were slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) JUAN CARLOS (C Maujean) recorded a TCO2 concentration of more than 36 mmol/L. Trainer TJ Laing was advised that a second blood specimen would be collected. This specimen was of an acceptable TCO2 level. b) WOMAN'S WORLD (M Yeni) recorded a TCO2 concentration of more than 36 mmol/L. Trainer K Mitchley was advised that a second blood specimen would be collected. This specimen was of an acceptable TCO2 level. c) NO PLACE LIKE HOME (R Fourie) recorded a TCO2 concentration of more than 36 mmol/L. Trainer AC Greeff was advised that a second blood specimen would be collected. This specimen was of an acceptable TCO2 level. d) As the start was effected, Jockey C Zackey's (STORM COMMANDER) right foot was not in the stirrup iron but he managed to regain it shortly thereafter. e) At approximately the 600m STORM COMMANDER (C Zackey) shied away from ALADO'S PRIDE (J Gates), which shifted out away from the crop. f) WOMAN'S WORLD, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
