THE STARTER REPORTED: a) ROYAL HORIZON (J R Syster) jumped inwards leaving the stalls. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) Approaching the 200m, GODSPEED (G Lerena) was steadied outwards away from the heels of KINGS AGAIN (M van Rensburg), which was directed inwards in anticipation of running onto the heels of SO SEDUCTIVE (P Strydom), which rolled out marginally and was corrected. b) Jockey L Nhlapo reported that he felt something amiss with GLOBAL THUNDER in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. c) In view of the Veterinary Surgeon's report concerning GLOBAL THUNDER, and in terms of Rule 93.1, this filly is suspended for 60 days from racing in any race under the jurisdiction of the National Horseracing Authority. Trainer C J Lensley was advised. d) SO SEDUCTIVE (P Strydom), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer J J van Vuuren advised (MduP). JOCKEY CHANGES: None.
