THE STARTER REPORTED:

a)	The tongue-tie on PURPLE OPERATOR (M van Rensburg) had to be re-fitted at the start.
b)	LADY MAJORCA (Y Ramzan) was nervous in the stalls.
c)	THUNDER MASTER (D Schwarz) jumped awkwardly.
d)	DUBAI HILLS (R Fourie) stumbled leaving the stalls.
	
THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: 

a)	DUBAI HILLS (R Fourie) recorded a TCO2 concentration of more than 36 mmol/L. Trainer AC Greeff was 	advised that a second blood specimen would be collected. This specimen was of an acceptable TCO2 level.
b)	Approaching the 400m PURPLE OPERATOR (M van Rensburg), which shifted inwards, was bumped 	outwards by DUBAI HILLS (R Fourie), which shifted outwards slightly.
c)	EYJAFJALLAJOKULL, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer GD Smith was advised. (LM)
