THE STARTER REPORTED: a) SYX HOTFIX dislodged Jockey M Yeni while proceeding to the start, bolted the course, was taken in hand, examined by the course Veterinary Surgeon and withdrawn. b) BUSH TRACKER (L Mxothwa) was nervous in the stalls. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) At the 300m BUSH TRACKER (L Mxothwa) was steadied momentarily off the heels of THE MAURITIAN (C Maujean), which was hanging in between the 300m and the 100m and was corrected. b) KING REGENT, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer SB Kotzen, acting on behalf of Trainer GS Kotzen, was advised. (LM) c) CHERRY ANO, the second-placed horse, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer GD Smith was advised.
