THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) Jockey S Khathi was charged with a contravention of Rule 66.4 (read with Guideline 1 on overweight) in that he, as the rider of BEAU KALA, weighed back in at 57.6kgs, 1.1kg in excess of the weight at which he was declared out (56.5kgs). Jockey S Khathi signed an Admission of Guilt and was fined R1000,00. b) Trainer K Mitchley was charged with a contravention of Rule 8.3.1 in that she failed to have available the registered colours of the owner/s of LADY WRITER Trainer K Mitchley signed an Admission of Guilt and was fined R250,00. c) CATCH YOUR BREATH, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
