THE STARTER REPORTED: a) FLIGHT OF A CONDOR (*T Mayhew) was restless and reared in the stalls. Trainer D N Stenger was advised to reschool this filly prior to her next engagement (GT). b) BILINGUAL (M K Katjedi) and LADY WILLIAM (Wes Marwing) were slow losing one length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) Trainer J J van Vuuren was charged with a contravention of Rule 55.1 in that he failed to declare a rider for MONTANA LIGHTS at the time of final acceptances. Trainer J J van Vuuren signed an Admission of Guilt and a fine of R1000 was imposed. b) PREDATRICE (G Lerena), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer S G Tarry advised (MduP). JOCKEY CHANGES: a) MONTANA LIGHTS was ridden by Jockey M Yeni (declared 19 October 2024 at 07H26). RACE CARD CHANGES / OTHER: a) GOLDEN ARGO raced equipped with blinkers (declared 17 October 2024 at 08H35).
