IT'S HER WAY (K MATSUNYANE) PROVED RELUCTANT PROCEEDING TO THE START. THIS CAUSED A DELAY TO THE START OF THIS RACE. THE STARTER HAD NO REPORTS. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) IT'S HER WAY (K Matsunyane) proved reluctant proceeding to the start and had to be led by a Handler. Stable Employee L Faniso, acting on behalf of Trainer R Klaasen, was advised that should this filly behave in a similar manner in future, it may be suspended. b) Leaving the 200m, IT'S HER WAY (K Matsunyane), which had come to the end of its run, was steadied when awkwardly placed on the inside of MIA MOO (C Zackey), which hung in from the 600m, and on the heels of HAPPY MO (G Lerena), which shifted out away from the crop and was corrected, c) HAPPY MO (G Lerena), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer J J van Vuuren advised (MS). JOCKEY CHANGES: None. RACE CARD CHANGES / OTHER: a) SOUND MACHINE raced without blinkers (declared 18 October 2024 at 06H44).
