THE STARTER REPORTED: a) MOVING IN (L Nhlapo) jumped inwards leaving the stalls. b) BIOFARMER (G Lerena) jumped outwards leaving the stalls. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) Shortly after the start, KINSHIN SHA (*G Samo-Burthia) took an awkward stride and stumbled when buffeted between BIOFARMER (G Lerena), which jumped outwards leaving the stalls, and CYMRIC (P Strydom), which was carried in by MOVING IN (L Nhlapo), which jumped inwards leaving the stalls b) CYMRIC (P Strydom) hung out from the 500m, proving difficult to assist. Trainer J J van Vuuren was advised to take the necessary corrective measures to improve CYMRIC'S racing manners. c) ELEGANT ICE (C Zackey), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
