THE STARTER REPORTED: a) SECRET CHORD (M Yeni) and COUNT INVICTO (C Zackey) jumped inwards leaving the stalls. b) TURBO POWER (C Habib), SUPER AWESOME (D De Gouveia) and KING OF NUMBERS (D Schwarz) jumped outwards leaving the stalls. c) OPEN HIGHWAY (*G Samo-Burthia) was slow losing one length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) As the start was effected, OPEN HIGHWAY (*G Samo-Burthia) jumped awkwardly outwards and made contact with the left-side front gate leaving the stalls. b) Shortly after the start, AMPERSAND (*T Mayhew) was bumped in by SECRET CHORD (M Yeni), which jumped inwards leaving the stalls and as a consequence, made contact with SUPER AWESOME (D De Gouveia), which jumped outwards leaving the stalls. c) COUNT INVICTO (C Zackey), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
