THE STARTER REPORTED: a) NOT WANTED (S Veale) was slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) COSMIC RHYTHM (O Noach) raced wide without cover in the early stages and was allowed to race round runners and into a prominent position approaching the 1000m. b) Approaching the 100m GRIPEN (A Domeyer) rolled out and had to be straightened when awkwardly placed on the inside of JOHNNY DRAMA (C Zackey), which rolled out. c) MENTE ET MANU, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer SJ Snaith was advised.
