THE STARTER REPORTED: a) MADAME POMPADOUR (*K J Lihaba) lost 1 length. b) CAVALRY BROWN (M Thackeray) jumped awkwardly. Lost 2 lengths. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) Leaving the starting stalls ARCTIC FURY (R A Venniker) was brushed by SUN KITTEN (C F Dicken) which jumped awkwardly in. b) At the 1400m SUN KITTEN (C F Dicken) which commenced to over-race was steadied when close to the heels of NAUTICAL LANDING (T Godden) which rolled in. As a result RANI TARABAI (M V'Rensburg) took an awkward stride and shifted out away from the heels of SUN KITTEN (C F Dicken). Jockey T Godden appeared before the Board with regard to this incident and was advised to take more care. c) ONE PATH (S Veale), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer F Robinson advised (SP). JOCKEY / EQUIPMENT CHANGES : a) RANI TARABAI raced equipped with blinkers (advised 28.10.2024/17h18). b) CAVALRY BROWN raced fitted with a tongue tie (advised 28.10.2024/15h53). c) AMBER EYES raced equipped with blinkers (advised 27.10.2024/08h00).
