Stipes Report
THE STARTER REPORTED:
a) REGINA MARIS (+X C Machaieie) was slow losing one length.
b) RUBY REBEL (+T Ncume) was slow into stride.
THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED:
a) Shortly after the start, PASS THE BATON (+I Lukhele), which jumped outwards leaving the stalls, and ARCTIC VIXEN (+T Matsoele), which jumped inwards leaving the stalls, came together and bumped.
b) After a fair break, PLUM BLOSSOM (+T Lukhele) commenced to give ground to the field from the 1200m and raced detached from the field for the remainder of the race. Thereafter, Work Rider T Lukhele reported that he felt something amiss with this filly in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine.
c) GLORIA MUNDI (+P Mongqawa) hung in and was corrected on a number of occasions from the 300m.
d) PASS THE BATON (+I Lukhele) commenced to give ground to the field from the 250m. In view of this report, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly.
e) ARCTIC VIXEN (+T Matsoele), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.

a) PLUM BLOSSOM raced equipped with blinkers and cheek pieces (declared 28 October 2024 at 10H34).

a) PASS THE BATON examined post race, nothing obvious detected.
b) PLUM BLOSSOM not striding out behind.
c) ARCTIC VIXEN cast its right front shoe in running; mild post race distress.
