THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) Approaching the 150m EASY LIVING (D Ashby), which was hanging in, had to be directed outwards and away from the heels of SCHOOL POLICY (C Orffer). b) Jockey G Wright (MY FLOWER FATE) dropped his crop at the 150m. c) Jockey A Andrews reported that TRIP TO MAPUTO did not stride out freely in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. d) The course Veterinary Surgeon reported that the saddles on FATAL GEM (L Mxothwa) and MY FLOWER FATE (G Wright) slipped back in running. e) GIMMETHATPEARL, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
