b)	BASKED IN GLORY (J R Syster) jumped outwards leaving the stalls.
c)	GOLDEN ASPEN (M van Rensburg) was slow losing one length.
d)	LUCY IN THE SKY (J Gates) was slow into stride.	

THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED:
a)	QUICK TRIP (K Matsunyane) proved difficult to settle in the early stages.
b)	FRANCILIEN (*G Samo-Burthia ) hung in from the 400m. 
c)	BASKED IN GLORY (J R Syster) was baulked for a clear run from the 300m to the 200m, thereafter this filly was switched out at the 150m to obtain a clear run. 
d)	Jockey P Strydom (SO SEDUCTIVE) did not persevere with his riding from the 300m.  Thereafter, Jockey P Strydom reported that this filly did not stride out freely in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. 	
	Trainer J J van Vuuren was requested to report back to the Stipendiary Board on the condition of SO SEDUCTIVE on return to stables. 	
e)	Jockey C Habib reported that WOMEN OF FAME made an abnormal respiratory noise in running. 
The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. 	
f)	FRANCINE (G Lerena), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
