THE STARTER REPORTED: a) WHISPERING DEATH (G Lerena) and KING BLUETOOTH (*N Nastili) jumped outwards leaving the stalls. b) CAPTAIN CARNAGE (R A Venniker) was slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) In consultation with the Riders after the running of Race 1, the going was changed from Good to Soft, to Soft. b) WHISPERING DEATH (G Lerena), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer Matthew de Kock advised (AH). JOCKEY CHANGES: a) LADY NOIR was ridden by Apprentice K J Lihaba, who weighed out at 54,8kg, 0,5kg over the carded weight as declared (declared 27 March 2025 at 13H29). b) KING BLUETOOTH was ridden by Apprentice N Nastili (declared 29 March 2025 at 10H52). Stipes permission due to Jockey K Matsunyane attending to family responsibilities.
