THE STARTER REPORTED:

a)	RAMA FORCESA (R Fourie) was slow into stride.
b)	FORT RED (M Mjoka) jumped inwards and made contact with LET IT BE SAID (A Domeyer) leaving the stalls.

THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: 

a)	KELP FOREST dislodged Jockey G van Niekerk while proceeding to the start, bolted back to the parade ring and was subsequently withdrawn.
b)	At the 150m IMPACT INVESTOR (C Zackey) had to steady when awkwardly placed on the inside of THE TINKERMAN (O Noach), which was brushed inwards by a tiring SIR KORSKI (A Andrews).
c)	In the concluding stages LUNCH MONEY (R Khathi) raced onto the heels of PARATROOPER (S Veale) and, as a consequence, Jockey R Khathi was unable to ride LUNCH MONEY to the finish.
d)	Jockey G Wright reported that GIVETHATMANABELLS took no interest in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding.
e)	ARCTIC WIZARD, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer GW Ennion was advised. (TJ)
