THE STARTER REPORTED:
a) GOLD DE GRACE (R Danielson) and BAD MEDICINE (C Habib) were slow into stride.
THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED:
a) After the running of Race 2, in consultation with the Jockeys, the going was changed from Good to Soft to Soft.
b) PRIMAL FEAR (M K Katjedi) raced wide around the turn and into the straight.
c) At approximately the 900m, PIONEER SQUARE (G Lerena) was carried out by ONE MORE STAR (P Strydom), which rolled out.
d) Leaving the 300m, ONE MORE STAR (P Strydom) was carried in marginally by PIONEER SQUARE (G Lerena), which hung in from the 400m.
e) ONE MORE STAR (P Strydom), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
