THE STARTER REPORTED: a) THE FUTURIST (K Matsunyane) and WHAFEEF (P Mxoli) jumped inwards leaving the stalls. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) Jockey K Matsunyane (THE FUTURIST) did not persevere with his riding from the 150m. Thereafter, Jockey K Matsunyane reported that this gelding took no interest in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. b) Jockey G Lerena reported that JOKER MAN tired badly in the concluding stages. In view of this report, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding. c) RULE BY FORCE (C Habib), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
