Stipes Report
THE STARTER REPORTED: a) ZIL MORIS (K Matsunyane) was fractious in the stalls, taken out, examined by the course Veterinary Surgeon and withdrawn, causing a delay. b) BJORN IRONSIDE (S Moodley) jumped slow, losing one length and thereafter was slow into stride. c) ROCKPOOL (R Khathi) and PORT LOUIS (D Schwarz) were slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) In view of the performance of BJORN IRONSIDE (S Moodley), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding. b) In view of the report from the Starter regarding ZIL MORIS (K Matsunyane), this gelding's starting stall certificate has been withdrawn and he is suspended for 7 days in terms of Rule 61.6.10 and until such time as he proves to be tractable to load with a companion. (Suspension dates: 17/11/2024 to 23/11/2024 inclusive). ZIL MORIS may not be presented for re-passing during this period. c) SNOW PILOT, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer SJ Snaith was advised.
