THE STARTER REPORTED:

a)	SOHOT SOWHAT (G Lerena) was stubborn loading, causing a delay.
b)	RED STATE (O Noach) was restless in the stalls and thereafter was slow into stride.
c)	CITY OF DREAMS (C Bantam) and GIVE ME EVERYTHING (S Moodley) jumped awkwardly, losing one length.

THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: 

a)	In a tightly bunched field at the 800m BEACH QUEEN (JP van der Merwe) was steadied and made contact with the hindquarters of KLEINZEE (A Andrews).
b)	CITY OF DREAMS (C Bantam) was hanging out from the 400m.
c)	In view of the debut performance of LILY GREEN (J Solomons), which raced green, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. 
d)	Jockey JP van der Merwe reported that he felt something amiss with BEACH QUEEN. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. 
e)	Jockey C Maujean reported that he felt something amiss with SHE SAID. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. 
f)	In view of the report from the Starter regarding SOHOT SOWHAT (G Lerena), this filly's starting stall certificate has been withdrawn and she is suspended for 7 days in terms of Rule 61.6.10 and until such time as she proves to be tractable to load with a companion. (Suspension dates: 17/11/2024 to 23/11/2024 inclusive). SOHOT SOWHAT may not be presented for re-passing during this period.
