Stipes Report
THE STARTER REPORTED: a) During the loading process, MARIESKOP (+B Nyambo) broke through the front gates. This filly was restrained by the Rider, returned to the start, was subject to a Veterinary Examination, declared fit to race and reloaded. The starting stall certificate for this filly has been withdrawn. Stable Employee S Paterson, acting on behalf of Trainer B H Stidolph, to be advised. b) BLACK HOLE SUN (+I Lukhele) jumped inwards leaving the stalls. c) MARIESKOP (+B Nyambo), CAPTAINS CLOVER (+G Shuping) and FLYING SOLO (+S Dwayana) were slow losing one length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) Shortly after the start, MAGIC BANK (+V Sithetho) was bumped by Q FOR LOVE (+T Ncume), which jumped inwards leaving the stalls. b) As the start was effected, CAPTAINS CLOVER (+G Shuping) was steadied away from the heels of PANTHERA UNCIA (+C Mabaya), which jumped inwards leaving the stalls. c) Shortly before the finish line, BILINGUAL (+A Feni), which rolled in, and CHILLI MARMALADE (+T Lukhele), which hung out from the 200m, came together and brushed. d) In view of the Starter's report with regard to MARIESKOP, this filly's starting stall certificate has been withdrawn and she is suspended in terms of Rule 61.6.10 for a period of 7 days and until such time as she proves tractable loading and jumping with a companion. Suspension dates: 22 November 2024 to 28 November 2024. MARIESKOP may not be presented for re-passing during this period. Stable Employee S Paterson, acting on behalf of Trainer B H Stidolph, to be advised. e) MY ONE AND ONLY (+S Valjalo), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer B D Botes advised (MS). f) CHILLI MARMALADE (+T Lukhele), placed second (dead-heat), was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer C I Jonker advised (DR). WORK RIDER CHANGES: a) CAPTAINS CLOVER: Work Rider G Shuping weighed out at 59,7kg, 0,5kg over the carded weight. RACE CARD CHANGES / OTHER: a) PANTHERA UNCIA raced equipped with alumites in front and unshod behind (declared 14 November 2024 at 13H00). b) MAGIC BANK raced without blinkers (declared 18 November 2024 at 06H31). c) CAPTAINS CLOVER raced equipped with alumites in front, unshod behind (declared 19 November 2024 at 09H15) with blinkers and a compression mask (declared 19 November 2024 at 09H16). d) MARIESKOP raced equipped with ear muffs and without a tongue tie (declared 19 November 2024 at 10H51).
