THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) SASCHA'S DREAM (R A Venniker) over-raced in the early stages. b) At the 800m VIHAAN'S QUEEN (M V'Rensburg) had to steady to avoid running onto the heels of MISS PLATINA (C Habib). c) At the 150m SASCHA'S DREAM (R A Venniker) had to steady when awkwardly placed between MISS PLATINA (C Habib) which shifted out marginally away from the crop and QONDANEKUKHANYENI (A Mgudlwa) which rolled in. As a consequence of this VIHAAN'S QUEEN (M V'Rensburg) had to steady to avoid running onto the heels of SASCHA'S DREAM (R A Venniker). d) Jockey C F Dicken reported that ESCAPOLOGIST took no interest in the running.
