Stipes Report

THE STARTER REPORTED:

a)	ESCARPMENT (G Wright) jumped outwards.
b)	CALLMEGETRIX (A Domeyer) and MISS WORLD (C Orffer) made contact leaving the stalls.
c)	ROSH KEDESH (S Veale) was slow into stride.

THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: 

a)	Shortly after the start MISS WORLD (C Orffer) raced in restricted galloping room between DUMBLEDORE (R Fourie) and CALLMEGETRIX (A Domeyer),  which was carried outwards by ESCARPMENT (G Wright), which had shifted out leaving the stalls.
b)	Between the 300m and the finish KELP FOREST (G van Niekerk) was directed inwards on two occasions in an attempt to obtain clear running.
c)	In view of the performance of SPEED RACER (C Zackey), which tired quickly from the 300m, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding.
d)	DUMBLEDORE, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer VH Marshall was advised. (SC)
