THE STARTER REPORTED:

a)	PASHTUNWALI (M Mjoka), GUNSMOKE (C Maujean) and BRYDEN BAY (KA Brewer) jumped slow, losing one length.
	
THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: 

a)	Jockey M van Rensburg (SILVER TYCOON) became momentarily unbalanced at the 150m.
	A Steward called for a race review regarding this incident and after viewing the patrol film, took no further action.
	An Inquiry will be held into why Jockey M van Rensburg (SILVER TYCOON) became unbalanced at the 150m.	
b)	Jockey K Matsunyane reported that SCAMPTON made an abnormal respiratory noise in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding.
	Trainer SB Kotzen was advised to report back should she find anything amiss with this gelding on her return to the stables.	
c)	GOLDEN PAVILION, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer GD Smith was advised. (LM)
