Stipes Report
The start of this race was delayed due to the reasons stated in the Starters' report below. THE STARTER REPORTED: a) LINGOTTO (*K J Lihaba) was stubborn to load. Trainer W Whitehead will be advised to reschool this gelding. b) TRE UNO (C F Dicken) was stubborn and difficult to load. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) SAMUEL LONGSWORD (R A Venniker) over-raced in the early stages. b) EL CAPITAN (G Lerena) over-raced in the early and middle stages, proving difficult to assist. c) At approximately the 300m LINGOTTO (*K J Lihaba) had to steady and shifted in to avoid running onto the heels of THE IRON DUKE (D Daniels) which rolled in. Thereafter LINGOTTO (*K J Lihaba) commenced to hang out. d) THE IRON DUKE (D Daniels) shifted out away from the crop from the 250m. e) DOIN' TIME (S Sosibo) hung out from the 200m. f) Jockey S Sosibo (DOIN' TIME) accidentally dropped his crop at the 50m. g) In view of the Starter's report with regard to TRE UNO (C F Dicken), this gelding's starting stall certificate is withdrawn and it is suspended in terms of Rule 61.6.10 for a period of 7 days and until such time as it proves tractable with a companion. Suspension dates: 02.12.2024 to the 08.12.2024. TRE UNO may not be presented for re-passing during this period. Trainer W Whitehead was advised.
