THE STARTER REPORTED: a) SKY ON FIRE (+T Matsoele) jumped awkwardly leaving the stalls. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) Work Rider T Matsoele, the rider of SKY ON FIRE, briefly dropped his left-side rein at the 300m. b) Work Rider S Dwayana signed an admission of guilt for a contravention of Rule 62.2.3 in that he failed to ride RINGHO out to the end of the race to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards, prejudicing his chance of obtaining fifth (5th) place. Work Rider S Dwayana signed an Admission of Guilt and is suspended from riding in one (1) Work Rider race. Suspension date: 12 December 2024. c) THUNDERBIRD (+T Ncume), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer D N Stenger advised (MS). WORK RIDER CHANGES: None.
