THE STARTER REPORTED:

a)	WHY NOT JACKIE (A Arries) was restless in the stalls, resulting in ROYAL LYTHAM reacting and becoming restless in the stalls and dislodged Jockey A Domeyer. ROYAL LYTHAM was taken out, examined by the course Veterinary Surgeon, passed suitable to race and reloaded. 
b) 	UNITED WE STAND (G Wright) jumped awkwardly.
c)	LOOK FORWARD (JP van der Merwe) jumped slow, losing one length
d)	WHY NOT JACKIE (A Arries) threw its head down as the start was effected and jumped slow, losing one length. 

THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: 

a)	LOOK FORWARD (JP van der Merwe) was continually held up for a clear running between the 300m and the finish.
b)	GRUE OF ICE (K Matsunyane) took an awkward stride at the 250m. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this mare.
c)	In view of the report from the Starter regarding ROYAL LYTHAM (A Domeyer), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly.

f)	Jockey G Wright reported that UNITED WE STAND did not stride out freely in the running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this mare.
