THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) OFF LIMITS (C Maujean) was hanging in from the 250m. b) Jockey M V'Rensburg reported that he felt something amiss with LINGANOMORE post-race. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. c) In view of the performance of PULL A FAST ONE (C Habib) (16.05 lengths, 13/2 in the betting) the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. d) Trainer A Ndzilana signed an admission of guilt for a contravention of Rule 8.3.1 in that he failed to ensure that the owner's colours were available for the horse RED KNOT. Accordingly, a penalty of warning was imposed. e) LINGANOMORE (M V'Rensburg), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer C Spies advised (DZ).
