THE STARTER REPORTED:

a)	SILVER QUALITY (S Veale) and CITY OF DREAMS (C Bantam) jumped slow, losing one length and thereafter were slow into stride.
b)	GREEDANDDESIRE (A Arries) jumped inwards and made contact with MEG'S LEGACY (D Schwarz).

THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: 

a)	At the 200m BITTER SWEET (G Wright) was steadied and directed inwards to avoid the heels of OVER THE ATLANTIC (*I Taka).
b)	Approaching the 50m CITY OF DREAMS (C Bantam) shifted out sharply away from the crop and had to be straightened. As a consequence, BITTER SWEET (G Wright) which was following, was steadied briefly.
c)	At the 250m ROSA OSIRIA (M Mjoka) rolled out and had to be steadied briefly when close to the heels of CHAMPAGNE PROBLEMS (JP van der Merwe).
e)	Jockey C Orffer reported that KEENIA'S PRINCESS felt uncomfortable in her action. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly.
f)	Jockey R Fourie reported that, in his opinion, the performance of HERITAGE RIDGE was disappointing. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly.
g)	CASA ESTIVA, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.  Trainer AE Sands was advised. (KG)
