THE STARTER REPORTED:

a)	WILLIAM WEST (C Zackey) and FORT RED (M Mjoka) were restless in the stalls.

THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: 

a)	Shortly after the start RATTLESNAKE stumbled badly and as a result, Jockey A Domeyer was obliged to take up a position at the rear of the field.
b)	The saddle on WILLIAM WEST (C Zackey), which was hanging out from the 400m, slipped back in running. This was confirmed by the Veterinary Surgeon.
c)	Jockey C Orffer reported that he felt something amiss with MAJOR APOLLO. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding.
d)	Jockey A Domeyer reported that he felt something amiss with RATTLESNAKE. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding.
