THE STARTER REPORTED: a) WORLD OF HOPE (A Mgudlwa) and CRYSTAL CLEAR (S Moodley) lost 1 length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) Leaving the starting stalls ATOMIC RED (R A Venniker), which was slow into stride, ducked out, away from PARLIAMENT SQUARE (J Jacobs) which jumped out. Thereafter ATOMIC RED (R A Venniker) commenced to hang out throughout. In view of this, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. b) MY BOY LOLLIPOP (G Lerena) hung out from the 250m. c) Jockey S Sosibo (HIGHER LOVE) accidentally dropped his crop at the 150m. d) Trainer F Robinson signed an admission of guilt for a contravention of Rule 10.5.6.1, in that he failed to notify the Chief Stipendiary Steward within two days that MY BOY LOLLIPOP is a gelding. Accordingly a penalty of a fine of R250 was imposed. e) MY BOY LOLLIPOP (G Lerena), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer F Robinson advised (SP).
