THE STARTER REPORTED: a) Fair start. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) At approximately the 1400m ORANGE COUNTY (G Lerena) was bumped inwards by PEACE TREATY (C Zackey), which was directed inwards away from the heels of PRINCEOFGREEN (P Mxoli) while attempting to improve position. b) In the concluding stages GUERILLA WARFARE (R Danielson) was brushed out by PEACE TREATY (C Zackey), which shifted out sharpy away from the crop and was corrected. c) Jockey K Matsunyane reported that BLOOMINGTON did not stride out freely in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding. d) Jockey G Lerena reported that ORANGE COUNTY made an abnormal respiratory noise in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this colt. e) PRINCEOFGREEN, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer PF Matchett was advised.
