a)	CARNELO (M van Rensburg) over raced in the early stages.
b)	Jockey K Matsunyane reported that he felt something amiss with BLACK LIGHTNING and he did not persevere with his riding in the concluding stages. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding.
c)	Jockey C Maujean reported that CALLABURN made an abnormal respiratory noise in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding.
