Stipes Report

THE STARTER REPORTED:
a)	ARROW'S MARK (M Yeni) kicked the back gates which resulted in CATCH THE TUNE (D Dillon) rushing the front gates. As a consequence of this incident, CATCH THE TUNE (D Dillon) was removed, examined by the Veterinary Surgeon and was passed fit to race.

THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED :
a)	PASHTUNWALI (A Marcus) after being slow away leaving the starting stalls, commenced to over-race which resulted in ROY'S COMMAND (K de Melo) being carried out at the 1300m.
b)	Leaving the 150m, GUISEPPI'S SONG (R Khathi) was steadied momentarily in anticipation of VALENCIA (*M Zuma) which came across GUISEPPI'S SONG (R Khathi) when shifting in away from the crop. As a consequence of this incident, GUISEPPI'S SONG (R Khathi) and CATCH THE TUNE (D Dillon) came together and bumped. The Board was satisfied that Apprentice M Zuma (VALENCIA) was sufficiently clear of GUISEPPI'S SONG (R Khathi) when shifting in, however, the Board advised Apprentice M Zuma to ensure that he keeps his mounts on a straight course in future.
c)	ROY'S COMMAND (K de Melo), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer A Wright advised (NS).
