THE STARTER REPORTED: a) PRETTY PRECIOUS (R Fourie) jumped awkwardly leaving the stalls. b) FUTURE SUCCESS (D de Gouveia) jumped slow, losing two lengths. c) GIMME A STORM (G Lerena) jumped inward leaving the stalls. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) In the concluding stages CHILLI MARMALADE (N Klink) was bumped in by TRAIL RUNNER (C Habib), which was hanging in from the 200m. b) Shortly before the finish line ON A JET PLANE (P Strydom), which rolled out, was bumped in by GIMME A STORM (G Lerena), which was hanging in from the 150m. c) Jockey C Zackey reported that GREEN EXTREME did not stride out freely in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. d) ILHA DA ORANGE, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer MN Houdalakis was advised.
