THE START OF THIS RACE WAS DELAYED DUE TO THE PREVIOUS RACE DELAY AND AS WELL AS THE BRIDLE ON SUKHUMVIT (P MXOLI) HAVING TO BE RE-FITTED BEFORE THIS FILLY PROCEEDED TO THE START. 
 
THE STARTER REPORTED:
a)	MY SOUL MATE (R Danielson), JULIET TANGO (K Brewer) and ELEMBEE (J Penny) were slow losing one length. 	

THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: 
a)	Jockey K Matsunyane reported that DONNA MO made an abnormal respiratory noise in the running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. 
b)	SUKHUMVIT (P Mxoli) over-raced in the early and middle stages.
c)	After racing prominently throughout, WONDERFUL (C Habib) tired badly from the 500m, giving ground to the field and thereafter Jockey C Habib reported that he felt something amiss with this filly. In view of this report, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. 
d)	LADY FALLON (*T Mayhew) was hanging in from the 350m. 
e)	FROZEN FANTASY (R Venniker) shifted in away from the crop in the concluding stages. 
f)	LADY FALLON (*T Mayhew), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer M N Houdalakis was advised. (LK) 
	
JOCKEY CHANGES:
a)	LADY FALLON was ridden by Apprentice T Mayhew. 
b)	ELEMBEE was ridden by Jockey J Penny.
