Stipes Report

THE STARTER REPORTED:

a)	CORK BAY (S Moodley), LUNCH MONEY (RA Venniker) and CHAMPAGNE KISSES (P Mxoli) jumped slow, losing one length.

THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: 

a)	There was a delay to the release of the official result due to internet connectivity issues. This was reported to the Racing Operator.
b)	TOUGH TERRAIN (O Murphy) was continually held up for a clear run between the 400m and the finish.
c)	SPEED RACER (C Zackey), which was hanging out, was held up for a clear run between the 300m and the finish.
d)	Leaving the 400m ICY BLAST (G Lerena), DISTING (A Arries) and HANDSOME PRINCE (R Fourie) were tightened for galloping room for a number of strides when carried inwards by TENANGO (A Domeyer), which was hanging in and shifted in. In this incident, HANDSOME PRINCE (R Fourie) was brushed on the hindquarters and momentarily unbalanced. Jockey A Domeyer appeared before the Board and was advised to take stronger measures to keep his mounts on a straight course.
e)	CORK BAY (S Moodley) took an awkward stride away from the inside running rail at the 150m and again in the latter stages.
f)	TENANGO, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.  Trainer C Bass-Robinson was advised. (TL)
