THE STARTER REPORTED:

a)	GRADUATION TIME (C Maujean) was reluctant to load.
	
THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: 

a)	At approximately the 900m PURPLE OPERATOR stumbled, fell and dislodged Jockey M van Rensburg. As a consequence, GRADUATION TIME (C Maujean) had to be switched out to avoid the fallen horse. PURPLE OPERATOR was attended to on course by the Veterinary Surgeon. Jockey M van Rensburg was attended to on course by the paramedics and transported to the Medical Centre for further examination.
b)	WHATEVER NEXT, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer AC Greeff was advised. (LM)
c)	COOL CAT, the second-placed horse, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Assistant Trainer DG Smith, acting on behalf of Trainer GD Smith, was advised. (LM)
