THE STARTER REPORTED:

a)	GARDEN OF EDEN (RA Venniker) jumped slow, losing one length.
b)	FAMILY POWER (G van Niekerk) was slow into stride.

THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: 

a)	At the 1500m, ENCHANTING CHOICE (C Zackey) had to be checked away from the heels of KAMCHATKA (C Orffer), when carried in by KAMAKAZI (M Winnaar), which shifted in when insufficiently clear.
	Jockey M Winnaar was charged with a contravention of Rule 62.2.7 in that as the rider of KAMAKAZI, he failed 	to ensure that he did not cause interference to ENCHANTING CHOICE and KAMCHATKA at the 1500m. 	Jockey M Winnaar signed an Admission of Guilt and is suspended from riding in races for a period of 7 days. 	(Dates: 19/01/2025 to 25/01/2025, both dates inclusive)
b)	At the 200m, KAMCHATKA (C Orffer) was carried outwards slightly by IM THE BUZZ (O Noach), which commenced to hang out and shifted out.
c)	GREEN ISLE (L Mxothwa) was hanging out from the 300m.
d)	TAP SHOES (A Arries) shifted out in the concluding stages and was straightened at the finish.
e)	Jockey S Veale reported that he felt something amiss with COULDITBE and he did not persevere with his riding from the 300m. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly.
f)	Jockey R Fourie reported that EXQUISITE choked up in running and he did not persevere with his riding from the 150m. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly.
g)	TAP SHOES, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.  Trainer SJ Snaith was advised. (TL)
