THE START OF THIS RACE WAS DELAYED DUE TO THE DELAY IN THE PREVIOUS RACE AS WELL AS ADMIRALS CHANCE (J R SYSTER) HAVING TO BE RESADDLED AT THE START. THE STARTER REPORTED: a) NANDINE (K Derere) was slow, losing four lengths. The starting stall certificate for this mare has been withdrawn. Stable Employee M Mallet, acting on behalf of Trainer A Parham was advised (WD). THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) In view of the Starter's report regarding NANDINE, this mare's starting stall certificate has been withdrawn and she is suspended indefinitely in terms of Rule 61.6.10 until such time as she proves tractable loading and jumping with a companion on a Raceday. This mare may not be presented for re-certification in the next seven days. Stable Employee M Mallet, acting on behalf of Trainer A Parham was advised. b) ADMIRALS CHANCE (J R Syster), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
