a)	PARIS LASS (S Naidoo) was stubborn loading, nervous in the stalls and thereafter was slow into stride.
b)	THREE ROCKS (R Fourie) jumped slow, losing one length.
c)	PASSCHENDAELE (M Yeni) and MONTELENA (Y Ramzan) were slow into stride.
	
THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: 

a)	PASSCHENDAELE (M Yeni) changed strides on a number of occasions between the 400m and the finish. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this 
b)	At approximately the 300m PARIS LASS (S Naidoo) shifted inwards and carried GOCEKWITHLOVE (X Ndlovu) inwards for a number of strides. 
c)	GOCEKWITHLOVE, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Assistant Trainer A Mtengwana, acting on behalf of Trainer AC Greeff, was advised. (LM)
