THE STARTER REPORTED:

a)	LEAD TO GLORY (K Steyn) jumped slow, losing one length.
b)	WEHAVEASITUATION (G Wright) was reluctant to load and jumped slow, losing two lengths.

THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: 

a)	WEHAVEASITUATION (G Wright) proved difficult proceeding to the start and had to be led by a Handler. Trainer PP Kruyer was advised that should this filly behave in a similar manner in future engagements, she may be suspended.
b)	LEAD TO GLORY (K Steyn) was hanging out from the 400m.
c)	DAWN'S EARLY LIGHT (JP van der Merwe) was hanging out from the 200m.
d)	Jockey A Arries reported that MOHANDAS did not stride out freely in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding.
e)	In view of the report from the Starter regarding WEHAVEASITUATION (G Wright), Trainer PP Kruyer will be advised to have this filly re-schooled prior to her next engagement in terms of Rule 61.6.10.
f)	OKAVANGO, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.  Trainer SJ Snaith was advised. (TL)
