Stipes Report

THE STARTER REPORTED:

a)	MISTER MONOCLE (A Arries) stood as the start was effected, losing five lengths.
b)	FLY FUTURA (A Domeyer) stumbled leaving the stalls.

THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: 

a)	After leaving the parade ring correctly shod, TOUCHDOWN (S Veale) cast its left front shoe on the way to the 	start which had to be replaced, causing a delay.
b)	After jumping slow, MISTER MONOCLE (A Arries) raced around the field and raced wide on the turn and into 	the straight.
c)	At the 150m CONTINENTALEXPRESS (C Zackey) was steadied when awkwardly placed on the heels of TWICE THE MASTER (O Noach), which was brushed out by MASTER OF PARIS (G van Niekerk), which was hanging out from the 300m and directed to the outside of ALADDIN'S LAMP (L Mxothwa) at the 200m.
d)	Jockey O Noach (TWICE THE MASTER) had his crop accidentally struck from his hand by Jockey G van Niekerk (MASTER OF PARIS) at the 150m.
e)	In view of the report from the Starter regarding MISTER MONOCLE (A Arries), this gelding's starting stall certificate has been withdrawn and he is suspended for 7 days in terms of Rule 61.6.10 and until such time as she proves to be tractable to load and jump on terms with a companion on a race day. (Suspension dates: 19/01/2025 to 25/01/2025 inclusive). MISTER MONOCLE may not be presented for re-passing during this period.
f)	ALADDIN'S LAMP, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.  Trainer B Crawford was advised. (TL)
