THE STARTER REPORTED: a) KINGS AGAIN (*T Mayhew) was difficult to load. b) ONE PARTY (G Lerena) jumped awkwardly leaving the stalls. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) ONE PARTY jumped awkwardly leaving the stalls, which resulted in Jockey G Lerena's shoulder making contact with the left-side front gate, and him becoming momentarily unbalanced. b) KINGS AGAIN (*T Mayhew) did not persevere with his riding in the concluding stages. Thereafter, Apprenticed T Mayhew reported that this filly did not stride out freely in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. c) GREEN SAPPHIRE (P Strydom), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer S G Tarry advised (MduP).
