THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) Leaving the starting stalls Jockey M Yeni (VISION TO ACHIEVE) lost the footing to his right side stirrup iron which he regained shortly thereafter. b) GET IN THE Q (C Zackey) hung in from the 350m. c) WAR EMPRESS (D Schwarz) hung in, in the concluding stages. d) Jockey S Veale reported that he felt something amiss with PATANTS HEIR in the running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. e) Jockey K Matsunyane reported that HOT PEARL changed stride continually in the running.
