THE STARTER REPORTED: a) DEVILISHLYGORGEOUS (+S Mkhumbuzi) and PLUM BLOSSOM (+J Horing) jumped inwards leaving the stalls. b) BEVERLY BABY (+V Sithetho) was slow losing one length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) PLUM BLOSSOM (+J Horing) and INSTANT ATTRACTION (+K Mayhew-Munger) raced wide around the turn and into the straight. b) Work Rider S Mkhumbuzi reported that DEVILISHLYGORGEOUS changed stride continually in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. c) HEARTS ON FIRE (+T Matsoele), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Assistant Trainer V Moore, acting on behalf of Trainer M N Houdalakis, was advised (MduP). WORK RIDER CHANGES: a) EMPRESS WU : Work Rider G Dadamasi weighed out at 58,6kg, 0,5kg over the carded weight.
