THE START OF THIS RACE WAS DELAYED DUE TO THE DELAY IN THE PREVIOUS RACE. THE STARTER REPORTED: a) QUELLO CHE (R Munger) jumped outwards leaving the stalls. b) LACEWING (D Schwarz) was slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) Shortly after the start, LACEWING (D Schwarz) and INTRO (M Yeni) were bumped out by QUELLO CHE (R Munger), which jumped outwards leaving the stalls. b) Leaving the 400m, RED SPARROW (*T Mayhew), which had come to the end of its run and rolled in, was brushed out GERBERA (C Zackey), which was directed out away from the heels of QUELLO CHE (R Munger) to continue its run. c) GERBERA (C Zackey), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis (MS).
