THE STARTER REPORTED: a) TIMBAVATI RIVER (C Maujean), FRENCH IMPACT (DB Geerthsen) and POMO'S BIG SPENDER (K Steyn) jumped slow, losing one length. b) LT ALEXANDER (D Schwarz) and MAN OF COURAGE (K Minnie) were slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) FRENCH IMPACT (DB Geerthsen) over raced in the early and middle stages. b) Shortly after the start, MAN OF COURAGE (K Minnie) was bumped in by LT ALEXANDER (D Schwarz), which jumped inwards. c) Shortly after the start, TIMBAVATI RIVER (C Maujean) was bumped out by SOUND OF THE SEA (R Danielson), which jumped outwards. d) At the 150m GOLDEN PAVILION (C Zackey) was accidentally struck on the head by the crop of R Danielson (SOUND OF THE SEA). e) MASTER FORESTER, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
